Birch Vale and Hayfield unable to be served by service 358

From Friday 9 August 2024, closure of Hayfield Road at New Mills
Due to subsidence on the A6015, Hayfield Road at its junction with High Hill Road, New Mills, the road has been closed until further notice. This means Stagecoach service 358 will not be able to serve Birch Vale and Hayfield but terminate at New Mills Bus Station.

Alfreton Bus Station closure, some changes to temporary stops

From Monday 29th July 2024 Trent Barton 9.1 and 9.3 towards Mansfield will operate from Stand 5 on Marshall Street instead of Temporary Stand 4 on Hall Street at the following times:

TOWARDS MANSFIELD

Buses with the following Alfreton departure times will continue to run from Nottingham Road via High Street, King Street, and Hall Street using ‘Stop 4’:
• Monday to Friday & Saturday until 08:55 and from 18:35
• Sunday from 19:20

Buses with the following Alfreton departure times will run from Nottingham Road via Alma Street, Grange Street and Marshall Street using ‘Stop 5’:
• Monday to Friday from 09:10 to 18:25
• Saturday from 09:10 to 18:10
• Sunday to 18:12

Alfreton Bus station closed for refurbishment from 1st July

Alfreton bus station is closed for reconstruction and improvement works, funded by Derbyshire County Council’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP).

The work will have a particular focus on accessibility, improving the interface between bus and boarding areas particularly for those with limited or restricted mobility.

During this time, bus services will be relocated to existing and convenient temporary stops around the town centre. You can find which stop your bus will be using inside the attached PDF, or by contacting the bus operator.
