Reopening of Clay Cross Bus Station Saturday 16th August

The Bus Station at Clay Cross will re-open to all services from start of service on Saturday 16th August 2025.

Services will return to their allocated stands which are:
• 48 to Chesterfield & Wadshelf – Stand 1
• 48a to Outwood Academy – Stand 1
• 49 to Bolsover & Clowne – Stand 1
• 51 to Tupton & Chesterfield – Stand 3
• 54 to Hasland & Chesterfield – Stand 2
• 55 to Wingerworth & Chesterfield – Stand 4
• 63 to Ashover & Matlock – Stand 4
• 63 to Wingerworth & Chesterfield - Stand 4

Use of the temporary stops on Market Street will end.

Alfreton Bus Station temporary stop closures - alternate bus stop locations

From Sunday 27th July National Grid are carrying out electrical works in Alfreton Town Centre. As a result, bus services which normally start and terminate at the bus station will be using temporary stops located around the Town Centre.

13 Feb 2025 onwards      B5470 near Rainow

Service 60/60a Macclesfield - Whaley Bridge - Buxton emergency timetable for road closure near Rainow

Due to the B5470 road collapsing between Rainow and Kettleshulme an emergency timetable has been introduced. The majority of journeys have been curtailed to operate between Macclesfield and Rainow only, or between Kettleshulme and Hayfield only.

There are a limited number of through journeys between Macclesfield and Hayfield, which are diverted between Whaley Bridge (Horwich End) and Macclesfield via the Cat & Fiddle and Long Hill, with increased journey times as a result.

All journeys will operate as service 60. The Stoneheads Estate in Whaley Bridge will continue to be served on a reduced basis. Please see the emergency timetable for full details.
