Report a service issue now ⟶3 Mar - 25 May 2025 Findern Lane (from B5008 Etwall Road junction to 850m east)
Due to work taking place on the gas supply pipes, Findern Lane will be closed from its junction with B5008 Etwall Road for an approximate distance of 850m east. As a result the V3 will use the A38 between Findern and Willington with a shuttle bus going into Findern as far as Mercia Marina.
The following stops will not be served during this period:
Chellaston Cottages, Findern Lane (both directions)
Derwent Court, Findern Lane (both directions)
10 - 25 Mar 2025 Tom Lane, Duckmanton
Due to work taking place on the gas supply pipes, the following stops will be temporarily relocated from Church Way. For Service 51 stop H1 will be relocated to Stephenson Place Temporary Stop 1. For Service 54 stop H2 will be relocated to Stephenson Place Temporary Stop 2.
3 - 28 Mar 2025 Barley Close, Little Eaton
Service 71 will do its normal route to Vicarage Lane then turn left onto The Town and follow to the end of the road and turn left onto Alfreton Rd (B6179), then left onto Alfreton Rd (by the Beauty Shack) to resume normal route. And the same in reverse. This means the following stops will not be served:
Town End (both stops on Barley Close)
Barley Close (both stops on Barley Close)
Instead these stops on Alfreton Road will be utilised:
Morley Lane (both stops on Alfreton Road)
3 - 14 Mar 2025 Shirebrook Marketplace
The Marketplace stops are suspended and buses are using temporary stops on Ashbourne Road for the duration of roadworks and road closure between Station Road and its junction with Ashbourne Street
24 Feb - 21 Mar 2025 Whiteleas Avenue, South Wingfield
Due to gas works on Whiteleas Avenue, the road will be closed between its junction with Wayside Close to its junction with Ashford Avenue. Service 54 will be diverted via Chesterfield Road for the duration of the works which means the following stops will not be served:
Ashford Avenue (on Alma Road)
Haddon Road (on Alma Road)
Hucklow Avenue (on Alma Road)
Alma Court (on Alma Road)
Instead these stops on Chesterfield Road will be utilised:
Alice’s View (both stops on Chesterfield Road)
Alma Court (on Chesterfield Road, towards The Green)
13 Feb - 30 Jun 2025 B5470 near Rainow
Due to the B5470 road collapsing between Rainow and Kettleshulme an emergency timetable has been introduced. The majority of journeys have been curtailed to operate between Macclesfield and Rainow only, or between Kettleshulme and Hayfield only.
There are a limited number of through journeys between Macclesfield and Hayfield, which are diverted between Whaley Bridge (Horwich End) and Macclesfield via the Cat & Fiddle and Long Hill, with increased journey times as a result.
All journeys will operate as service 60. The Stoneheads Estate in Whaley Bridge will continue to be served on a reduced basis. Please see the emergency timetable for full details.

During construction of the multi story car park on the main hospital site, a free park & ride service will be provided from Kingsway Boulevard car park
