12th and 13th May 2025: Service 272 evening service affected by a road closure
Due to evening road closures in Hathersage for carriageway repair work, the final buses on Service 272 on these two dates will be:
• 16.36 Sheffield to Castleton
• 18.01 Castleton to Sheffield
6 - 23 May 2025 Dinting Road, Glossop
Due to water utility works Dinting Road will be closed to all traffic on the above dates.
Services towards Padfield will divert from Talbot Road via Cemetery Road, Park Road and Newshaw Lane resuming the normal route at Green Lane. Services towards Glossop will operate the reverse of this.

28 Apr - 19 Jun 2025 Aston on Trent
From 28th April until 19th June, an emergency Timetable and diversion route will be in place on Service 70 & 70A, due to a long-term road closure at Weston Road, Weston-on-Trent. During this time services will divert as follows:
Service 70: Normal route until Weston-on-Trent Methodist Church, then turn back out via Swarkstone Rd, A50 southern Bypass, A6, B5010 to Shardlow, Aston Lane and Shardlow Road to Aston-on-Trent, resuming normal route at the White Hart Inn.
Service 70A: Reverse of above
These stops will not be served:
Kings Mill Lane, The Green, Weston Road, Yates Avenue, Chellaston Lane

3 Mar - 25 May 2025 Findern Lane (from B5008 Etwall Road junction to 850m east)
Due to work taking place on the gas supply pipes, Findern Lane will be closed from its junction with B5008 Etwall Road for an approximate distance of 850m east. As a result the V3 will use the A38 between Findern and Willington with a shuttle bus going into Findern as far as Mercia Marina.
The following stops will not be served during this period:
Chellaston Cottages, Findern Lane (both directions)
Derwent Court, Findern Lane (both directions)
13 Feb - 30 Jun 2025 B5470 near Rainow
Due to the B5470 road collapsing between Rainow and Kettleshulme an emergency timetable has been introduced. The majority of journeys have been curtailed to operate between Macclesfield and Rainow only, or between Kettleshulme and Hayfield only.
There are a limited number of through journeys between Macclesfield and Hayfield, which are diverted between Whaley Bridge (Horwich End) and Macclesfield via the Cat & Fiddle and Long Hill, with increased journey times as a result.
All journeys will operate as service 60. The Stoneheads Estate in Whaley Bridge will continue to be served on a reduced basis. Please see the emergency timetable for full details.
